The Rocklee Company is a consultancy that solves administrative issues for small businesses. Our areas of focus are budgeting and financial management, cash flow management, financial reporting, bookkeeping, office management, shipping and receiving, facilities management, office infrastructure design and special project management. We are your ombudsmen, your problem solver and are frequently engaged to develop business processes that create an efficient administrative workflow.
Rocklee works with companies achieving annual revenues of 250K to 7MM.
Representative Accomplishments:
Hardware and Software Company grows over 600% -- Rocklee designed and implemented business procedures for a High Tech Company involved in the manufacture of Hardware and Software for sale to the Federal Government. This Company grew from 900K to 6MM and from 0 to 20 employees over a 3 yr period. During this 3 yr period, Rocklee was responsible for: office expansion and relocation to a new state, the creation of all basic administrative procedures and requirements (payroll, benefits, insurance, A/P, A/R, bookkeeping, etc.), order and fulfillment procedures, procurement and distribution procedures, design and development of an order tracking database, CRM implementation, marketing and communication materials, tradeshow management, and many special projects.
Rocklee reduced expenses for a Consulting firm by 66% -- Rocklee was brought in to design and implement a plan to reduce the overall expenses of a Marketing Consultancy. The administrative staff was let go and Rocklee took over the responsibility for all administrative and business management requirements. The office space was consolidated and outside vender dependency reduced. The production of the company’s core materials became Rocklee’s responsibility. Rocklee acted as an outsourced controller.
Production Company lands first of it’s kind deal with PBS Rocklee was engaged to create the production budget for a 10 show season of an animated series based on the critically acclaimed National Public Radio show Car Talk. The production budget was the last piece of the puzzle to seal the deal between the Production Company and PBS. Rocklee continued to work with the company acting as the outsourced controller responsible for all financial management and reporting both in-house and as required by PBS. Other responsibilities include managing financial relationship with creative partners (Dewey, Cheetham and Howe), managing the signatory status of the company with AFTRA, define and liaise with payroll company for both union and non-union employees, apply for and receive approval for CT tax credit. The show, “Click and Clack’s As The Wrench Turns,” is due to air on PBS July 9, 2008. Gregg Rochman is credited as Associate Producer.
Rocklee Music Together expands to 6 locations in Northern Westchester County, NY Rocklee was the key Business partner responsible for all business operations including: financial management, bookkeeping, payroll, A/R, A/P, marketing and promotion. Rocklee Music Together grew a minimum of 100% each year in operation for all 4 years of operation.
The last gentleman in Hollywood hires Rocklee to keep his ducks in a row Former President of MCA/Universal and prior VP of Broadband Strategy for AOL currently engages Rocklee to manage multi company interconnected financial relationships.
